Williamson NY: After a full and love-filled life, Joan Verbridge passed on August 21, 2018 at the age of 93. Joan was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife. She was a faithful congregant of her church and an eternally positive and optimistic person. Never about herself, she gave to others in countless ways. Joan did her part to promote the local fruit growing industry by baking the best pies around.
Predeceased by Ralph Verbridge, her beloved husband of 66 years, Joan is survived by daughters Judy Thomson (Steve) and Jean; grandchildren Maggie (Justin) Janco, Greg (Kathryn) Thomson; Tripp, Chris, and Trevor Burd; and great grandchildren Elise, Colson, and Reese.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Saturday August 25 at 2 pm in the Pultneyville Reformed Church, 7784 Hamilton Street.
