My little sister was one of the most positive people I’ve known. She would walk in to any room and and fill it with her smile. She would ask about your life long before telling you about hers. We loved to talk about hockey, a sport we both grew to love from our father. I’ll miss the many late evening texts with Joanne. She raised two beautiful daughters and had such a loving relationship with her husband Terry of 26 years. Miss you already sis.

I went to Greece Olympia and graduated the same year as Joanne did… 1984. I didn’t know her very well in High School but got to know her a lot better when we both started working at General Motors around the same time in 2006. She was such a nice woman … with a a big heart and fun to work with.. I’m so sorry for her family and friends… and so sorry for your loss. Rip Joanne. Jimbo.

Aunt Joanne will be missed so dearly. She was one of the happiest most energetic people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. The first to hug you as you walked through the door and the last to leave. Lots of love to all the Hamlins.
