Naples, NY: Josephine M. Messineo died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, July 19, 2019. She was soon to celebrate her 95th birthday.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Anthony in 1999. She is survived by her four daughters, Lisa Messineo (Michael McCabe), Antonia Messineo (Brian Porter), Jacqueline Messineo-Cowles (Jonathan Cowles), and Julie Winter; her grandsons Ian and Thomas Cowles; sister, Patricia Rosone and brother John (Georgann) DelVecchio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
No prior calling hours. A memorial mass will be held on Sunday, August, 11th 2019 in St. Januarius Church, Naples at Noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Happy Tails – Ontario County Humane Society and The Colony Caregivers.
