Hilton NY: Age 90, passed away on September 19th 2018. Liesa was born in Bierbach Germany. In addition to her parents Gretel and Albert Freidinger she is predeceased by her husband Rudolf Kartes and her daughter Helga, sister Margaret Wolfskeil and brother Kurt. She is survived by her daughter Silvia (David) Rodak, grandcjildren David (Amy), Nicholas (Dana) and Theresa (Phillip) De Mattia; Great-grandchilden Emily, David, Courtney, Brianna, Nicholas, and Madison; also her sister Inge Kraise and many nieces and nephews.

I am so sad to hear this. Your mother was a wonderful person and I have fond memories of her. She loved Maui and was always there to help others.
She was a great cook and hosted many fun dinner parties. The people around the pool still remember her and ask about her. She was so friendly and visited with everyone while B-B-Q ing her dinner,
In her later years I realize things became more difficult for her and I am sure she is in a better place now in the hands of God.
