Mrs. Lois Elizabeth (Wagner) Etshman, born on November 5, 1928 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, to the late Marguerite Wagner and the late Paul Wagner, passed away peacefully at age 89 on April 1, 2018 in Rochester, New York. She graduated from Cedar Crest College in 1950. She was a substitute Teacher in the Irondequoit school system and Tutor of ESL until retiring in 1985. Lois was married to her beloved the late LaVerne C. Etshman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Wagner; and sister, Fay Vido. Lois is survived by her sons, Todd (Tina) Etshman of Rochester, N.Y. and Eric (Sarah) Etshman of Hockessin, DE; brothers, S. Bruce Wagner and Durbin Wagner; and grandchildren, Nicole Etshman, Adelaide Etshman, Wyatt Etshman, and Alexander Etshman. Lois was an avid reader and loved book club. She was a prayer group and long standing member at Summerville Presbyterian Church. She was a committee member of American Association of University Women, and a volunteer at Meals on Wheels and Rochester Museum and Science Center.
