Rochester, NY: Suddenly August 29, 2018 at age 63. Survived by his loving wife, Sheri (Parrotta) DiFazio; Children Christina DiFazio, Shanni (Chris) Rathbun, Del (Shannon) Parrotta, Cole (Mackenzie) Parrrotta, Seth Parrotta; Grandchildren Jenna, Alexandra, Mikayla, Juliana, Lily, Aria, Avery; First wife Carmela Fedeli; Close Friends/Family The Merrill’s, The Zeh’s, The Burgio’s, The Smith’s; nieces and nephews.
Mike was a remarkable husband, dad, “Pop”, “Papa”, godfather, uncle and dear friend who’s passing leaves a giant hole in the lives of many. He loved spending time with those he loved, stoking a nice campfire, and playing bass as if he were the newest member of Judas Priest.
In the days leading up to Mike’s passing he repeatedly shared how fantastic each day had been and how he was having the best of times while vacationing with family. It is a comfort to know that while we solemnly mourn over his tragic passing he spent his days enjoying every moment until it was his last.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 at the American Legion, 76 W. Main St., Macedon, NY 14502, at 3:00-7:00pm for a celebration of Mike’s life, with a time to share memories at 5:00pm.
Mike was one funny guy, we had a lot of laughs. I’ll always remember him jamming to songs and loving music. I’m happy his last days were full of fun.
Like me, Mike was a huge priest fan. We had some really good times going to the shows, and jamming to some priest music. He was very generous to me, and for that I will always be greatfull. I wish we had 1 last show to go to. Mike thanks for accepting me like I was one of the family. You’ll be greatly missed.
