My husband and I were welcomed to the Village grove neighborhood with flowers and a warm smile from Miriam. She became a friend and wonderful next door neighbor. I am so saddened to learn of her passing. Please know that we are available to help in any way. She will be missed ….. even our grandkids would go visit Miriam and say “she’s such a nice lady”.

I have known Miriam for over twenty years and had the pleasure of being her hair stylist to a kind and loving person. We shared many stories and remember how over joyed she was when she became a grandmother. Miriam always looked forward to visiting with her granddaughter Vivian. She was dedicated to her volunteer work at the Wilmot Cancer center. Everyone at the DelMonte Salon knew her and enjoyed talking with her. She will be missed.

This is Susan Biele Alitto who knew and worked with Mim at Wells College. We have lost touch over the years but I was hoping to see her and renew our friendship at our upcoming 60th college reunion. I send deed condolences to her family. I have many fond memories!

To find out that Miriam transitioned was devastating for myself and Miriam’s fellow volunteers, here at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. As her coordinator, I can only speak of her kindness and faithfulness wholeheartedly, as she will always be remembered, and she will be greatly missed. Her dedication and warmth was appreciated and felt by so many….she touched many lives. My condolences and deepest sympathy to her family.
