Nancy Jean Bausch (nee Van Vorst) passed away on April 7, 2024, in Rochester, NY, at the age of 77. She was born on February 24, 1947, in Rochester, NY.
Nancy was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard “Dick” Bausch, her daughters Sherry Bausch and Laura Bausch, her son Richard (Julie) Bausch, grandchildren Dallas, Caylin, Eric, Brian, Heather, Dylan, Cameron, Brandon, Allison, Stella, and Anna, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters Eleanor LaPlant, Doris Van Vorst-Hymes, and Anita (James) Gardner, brother Hank (Mary Lou) Van Vorst, sister-in-law Phyllis (Lyle) Linderman, step-daughter Beverlee Harbour and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Henry and Rose Van Vorst, sisters Joyce Pfleegor and Janice Van Vorst, brother-in-law Luke Hymes and sister-in-law Joan (Gerald) Buchert.
The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Hospital for their care and compassion. Nancy will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. May her memory be eternal.
Aunt Nancy surely will be missed! I would always look forward to there visits to Ohio and Our garage sale, flea market trips. She truly was a straight forward person and spoke the truth no matter who it was. I am so going to miss her! My love goes out to Uncle Dick and the entire family may you find some comfort in each other and peace in knowing how many lives she touched. Love Linda and Dick Shreves
