Brockport, NY – Robert W. MacInnis passed away peacefully at the age of 103 on April 6, 2018.
Predeceased by his wife, Barbara; sisters, Margaret, Ruth, Pauline, Frances and Dorothy; brothers Donald and Hugh.
Robert was born in Nova Scotia and his family moved to Martha’s Vineyard at the age of 14 where he spent most of his life. In 2005 Robert moved to Brockport to be near his sister Dorothy. For those who knew him in Brockport out at local restaurants enjoying his daily outings and desserts. Spent his remaining time at Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport.
Served in the Army’s 738th Field Artillery Battalion in WWII. Worked as a piano tuner and enjoyed playing classical music.
A small service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, 10 am at the Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport (formerly Lakeside Beikirch Care Center) located at 170 West Avenue Brockport.
You were always so kind to us and we will always remember the twinkle in your eyes.
