Rochester, NY: DiGennaro, Samuel (Sam) passed away peacefully on October 10, 2019.
He was happily married to Charlotte for 57 years. They shared an amazing life together.
Sam was born in Rochester and was the son of Felix and Betty DiGennaro. He had many wonderful memories with his 2 sisters, Rosemarie and Jeanette. Sam was an educator his entire life and touched many lives. He never stoped searching for knowledge.
He loved his family, New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, his comics and an occasional Manhattan. He believed in the power of prayer.
Sam is survived by his wife Charlotte; children Joi(Geoff) and Michael; Sister, Jeanette; Grandchildren Jamie (Tyson), Kayleigh(Kyle), Jory(Val), Megan and Kennedi; Many relatives and friends.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Penn Yan Volunteer Ambulance
