Victor, NY: Sylvan Cecil Barlow, 85. Sylvan passed the morning of September 9, 2019. Married to Irene Barlow (nee Lambert) in 1955. He was an avid mechanic and used that talent for his life-long hobby as a racecar driver. He was an active member of the SCCA for over 50 years. Sylvan was predeceased by his eldest son, Brian, and is survived by Irene and their 7 children: Elaine (George) Reavis, Bob (Diane), Bill, Michael, Michele, Ken (Christine) and Sherilyn (Dave) Smail, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Syl, the oldest of 7 children, was predeceased by his younger brother, Bill, and survived by 5 siblings: Charlotte, John (Mary Jane), Doug, Valerie (BJ) Jerabeck and George (Lorraine), along with several nieces and nephews, and life-long friend, Bill Ahart.
