Rochester, NY: Theresa H. Bender (Baker) passed on December 13, 2020 at age 96. Theresa is predeceased by her seven brothers and sisters and granddaughter, Cynthia M. Dailey. Theresa is survived by her son, James Bender(Debbie) and her daughter, Heidi J. Nettles (Bender); Her grandson, Damian Nettles and granddaughter, Lea Bender; other family and friends.
Theresa retired from Park Ridge Hospital (Unity) where she was an LPN nurse. She volunteered at The Shore Winds Nursing Home. Theresa was an avid reader, having read a book almost daily, she loved to sing and had a pretty voice.
Thanks to The Shore Winds Nursing Home and staff for their kindness and compassion. The family would like to say Thank You for all the love and support you have given to Theresa and our family. Theresa’s memorial service will be held in the Spring and family and friends will be notified of the arrangements.
We were saddened to learn of Theresa’s passing. We became friends through a Small Christian Community group at St. Charles. She was a very pleasant person and we always enjoyed her company. We will keep her in our prayers.
