ROCHESTER, NY: Bill passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on November 11, 2017 at the age of 65 surrounded by his family. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Audrey & Paul Sr., brothers, Alan, Wayne & Charlie, sisters, Bonnie & Kathy. Bill is survived by his children, Collin Bratek-Botsford (Terra Cossey) of Spencerport, Justin Bratek-Botsford of Saratoga, Victoria Botsford of Gates, Billy Botsford, Angela Baldwin, Amanda Allen and Katherine Plaza all residing in Alabama. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Botsford; sister, Christine Frank; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Bill was born on August 23, 1952 in Rochester, N.Y. and lived his entire life between the areas of Rochester and Bradenton, FL. Bill enjoyed working on cars and took great pride in being a member of the East Rochester Volunteer Fire Department. Other passions included watching/attending NASCAR and football. He was an avid 49er’s fan, and loved playing Texas Hold’em with friends.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, the family will be holding a private service. Donations are being accepted in Bill’s memory to the East Rochester Fire Department, 415 Main Street, East Rochester, NY 14445.
Ginny – We are so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. We will remember the times we enjoyed in East Rochester with your family. May both Justin and Collin be enveloped in the Lord’s love during this difficult time.
